We are excited Laurie Hardie will be our February Spotlight speaker
Laurie Hardie is a Seattle Radio personality, an author, speaker, coach and podcaster. She loves to help women leave their legacy by telling their stories, whether privately or broadcasting to the world.
She was a single mom of three and is now Grandma LaLa to 6!
She’s passionate about helping people speak in a way that truly connects. During the Pandemic, she had a powerful realization—her background in broadcasting and her degree in social services came together as she noticed a troubling trend: podcasters and Zoom leaders thought they were being inclusive, but their communication style was unintentionally isolating for many listeners. Now, she helps voices become more inviting, intentional, and impactful.
She incorporates 35 plus years in broadcasting into her 7-Day Podcast Pro program which recently launched.
In Laurie’s 20-minute talk she will share: “Beyond Words: Speaking to Create Connection” (making people feel seen heard and valued)
Discover how to communicate in a way that makes others feel seen, heard, and valued. In this inspiring session, Laurie Hardie will share how to speak so people lean in, how listening is an essential part of truly being heard, and why conversations matter—even when we don’t agree. With warmth, wisdom, and practical insights, Laurie will guide you toward creating deeper, more authentic connections through the power of intentional communication.
Takeaways from this talk:
- Own your story by saying “I” and making it about your experience, not assuming everyone has the same experience.
- ALWAYS talk to one person
- Leave your Legacy, Push record
- Podcasters are the new influencers
